After one year of commencement, the Sunshine Aerospace Components Factory at the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park has been inaugurated for its first stage. Products of this factory will be exported to Europe, Malaysia and North America.
On 29th March, the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority informed the inauguration of the Sunshine Aerospace Components Factory with the total investment capital of 170 million USD, invested by Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam (UACV), Co., Ltd.
The factory is operated under a closed process, equipped with modern machinery, equipment and technology, and strictly applying provisions of the International Safety Management Code
According to leaders of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park Authority, this factory was started in March 2019 and is considered to be of great significance, contributing to speeding up the process of attracting investments and creating a motivation for the development of hi-tech industry in Da Nang City. After one year of commencement, the Sunshine Aerospace Components Factory in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park has started the first stage.
After the inauguration, the Sunshine Aerospace Components Factory was officially put into operation and is ready to stably supply to the world market a large number of components for aviation and aerospace industry.
This factory covers an area of 16.7 ha, a design capacity of 12,470 metric tons/year. In particular, stage 1 is built on an area of 10.9 ha with a production area of 4.7 ha divided into sub-areas to produce specific aerospace parts.
Stage 2 of the project will start in April 2023, expanding production of aviation parts and manufacturing raw materials from composite.
The factory aims to reach 25 million USD in export value by 2021, 82 million USD in 2022 and more than 180 million USD from 2026.
