Due to the complicated situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic recently, especially as Da Nang has reported locally transmitted cases, in order to timely prevent an outbreak and effectively carry out prevention measures, the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs would like to inform foreign organisations and individuals of several measures applied from 00.00 4th May 2021 in the city as follows:
1. To suspend the following activities until further notice:
a) Cultural, sports, religious and arts festivals and activities.
b) Non-essential services and businesses at entertainment places, beauty parlors, bars, pubs, night clubs, karaoke parlors, massage parlors, video game centres, cinemas, casinos, and public internet providers; walking streets and night markets.
c) Feasts or parties with more than 30 people, such as weddings, funerals and housewarming parties.
d) Physical activities at fitness centres and billiard centres; indoor sports; sports and martial activities which require direct contact; beach swimming.
e) Students to be off school from 4th May 2021 until further notice.
Other activities are allowed to take place if the organisers are committed to and have sufficient conditions to carry out prevention measures as regulated.
2. Restaurants and eateries (including street food stalls) must commit themselves to COVID-19 prevention measures as regulated. Online orders and takeaways are encouraged.
3. Public transportation vehicles (including taxis and grab cars) are allowed to continue operations, but must carry no more than half of their capacity, and must implement prevention measures as regulated.
4. Activities for political, economic and social purposes that are considered essential must be approved by competent authorities.
