On the afternoon of March 23, the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organization Affairs (COMINGO) held an online conference on foreign non-govermental work with bridge points in 63 provinces and cities. Mr. To Anh Dung, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of COMINGO, chaired the conference. Also in attendance were members of COMINGO and representatives of Ministries, Departments, corporations and the People's Comittees at the provincial level. At the bridge point in Da Nang, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ngo Thi Kim Yen chaired the conference with participation of representatives of the relevant City’s departments.
On the afternoon of April 22, 2022, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Ho Ky Minh welcomed Mr. Meynardo LB. Montealegre, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Philippines in Viet Nam during his visit to Da Nang.
On April 6, 2022, the Department of Information and Communication issued a document instructing citizens and tourists infected with COVID-19 to declare, register, and receive results online during their quarantine and treatment at home/accommodation as follows:
According to Note No. 6314/SYT-NVY dated December 15th, the Da Nang Department of Health will set up two vaccination points at the Da Nang Hospital for Women and Children located at 402 Le Van Hien in Ngu Hanh Son District, and the Da Nang Centre for Disease Control’s Service Immunization Unit at 103 Hung Vuong in Hai Chau District for residents who have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The Department may set up additional vaccination points if needed to ensure social distancing.
On October 30th, Da Nang People’s Committee issued Plan No. 188/KH-UBND on providing COVID-19 vaccines to children over 12.
Accordingly, all eligible children over 12 residing in Da Nang, including foreigners and overseas Vietnamese, will be offered a COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccination program is planned to take place from November to December with older children receiving the vaccine before younger age groups.
