Taste of Australia is an annual program held across Viet Nam to promote high quality Australian food and beverages, as well as culinary culture and creative fashion. The program is funded by the Australian Government and business partners in these areas. In 2018, along with the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Australia, the program has been extended to many culinary activities, receptions, and community barbecues in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Nha Trang, notably the Taste of Australia Culinary Competition. The Competition provides culinary students the chance to compete for a scholarship to study culinary arts in Australia.
In particular, in Da Nang, the Taste of Australia Culinary Competition Da Nang Heat will take place at 9am on 17th April 2018 at the Mercure Ba Na Hills French Village. The Final will take place at 9am on 20th April at the Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort. In addition, from 12pm to 6pm on 22nd April, the Family BBQ event in celebration of the 45th anniversary of the Viet Nam - Australia diplomatic relations will take place at Ocean Villas.
